MEED Foundation Participates in Green Tech Boot Camp Demo Day

MEED Foundation attended the Green Tech Boot Camp Demo Day at Suli Innovation House, where 11 innovative projects were showcased. The event highlighted the hard work and creativity of aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators in the green technology sector.

Sponsored by Lafarge Iraq, the event was attended by several notable figures, including the Governor of Sulaymaniyah, the Deputy Consul General of Germany, the Director of Culture Factory, and a representative from GIZ. Also present were the Director of Kurdistan Save the Children and representatives from several NGOs. Academics from the University of Sulaymaniyah’s College of Environmental Science participated as well.

During the Demo Day, participants presented their projects, each aimed at addressing environmental challenges through sustainable and innovative solutions. The projects covered a range of topics, including renewable energy and waste management, all contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.

As an organisation committed to sustainable development, MEED Foundation was proud to support this event and the efforts of these talented individuals and organisations. The Demo Day not only showcased the potential of green technologies but also underscored the importance of fostering innovation in the region to address pressing environmental issues.
