University of Sulaimani’s College of Environmental Sciences visit MEED Foundation to express appreciation for strategic collaboration.
The University of Sulaimani's College of Environmental Sciences, head by College Dean Dr. Emad Omer, Dr. Rozhan Faraidon, Dr. Zhino Khalid and Ms. Razan Omer, visited MEED Foundation to express their appreciation for data sharing and collaboration, and participation in the “Clean Air for Blue Skies” event held on 8th of September 2024.
Dr. Emad Omer expressed their sincere gratitude to MEED Foundation for its invaluable contributions, particularly through the Air Quality Network project—an innovative initiative aimed at gathering and analysing air quality data. The data provided by MEED Foundation has significantly supported the College of Environmental Sciences research efforts on air quality across the governorates of Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, and Kirkuk.
Dr. Emad emphasized the critical role of MEED Foundation’s work in addressing environmental challenges within the region. The team also acknowledged MEED’s active involvement in the “Clean Air for Blue Skies” event panel and its data-sharing initiatives. They expressed enthusiasm for continued collaboration, aiming to further benefit the community and foster positive environmental change.
Founder and Board Director of MEED Foundation's, Mr. Amanj Yarwaessi, along with their team, warmly welcomed the guests and confirmed MEED's commitment to continued cooperation in serving society and contributing to meaningful environmental solutions.
