MEED Foundation and Sulaymaniyah Tourism Sign Important Data Agreement

MEED Foundation has signed an important agreement with the Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Tourism to elevate the information capacity of Sulaymaniyah’s tourism sector.
This collaboration aims to update existing datasets and create new information resources that will support strategic decision-making for tourism growth in the region.
Signed by Ms. Shanaz Amer Badran, General Director of Sulaymaniyah Tourism, and Mr. Amanj S. Yarwaessi, Board Director of the MEED Foundation, this partnership will directly benefit both tourists, residents and businesses in the tourism sector. With updated, interactive data, visitors will be able to explore the city and its surroundings with ease, while residents are encouraged to engage more deeply with local attractions.
This joint effort positions Sulaymaniyah as a forward-looking, accessible, and engaging destination, promoting sustainable tourism growth and enhancing the city's appeal for both local and international visitors.
