MEED Foundation Congratulates University of Sulaimani Environmental Science Students on Successful Field Project

The MEED Foundation proudly congratulates the students of the University of Sulaimani – College of Environmental Sciences for the successful completion of their 15-day environmental survey project. The initiative, conducted in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP) and MEED Foundation, represents a significant step forward in practical environmental education in the Kurdistan Region.

The field survey provided students with valuable hands-on experience, complementing their academic learning with practical environmental data collection and analysis. Beyond the core project, this initiative also launched a new composting programme, encouraging sustainable practices and fostering environmental responsibility among students as part of their extracurricular engagement.

To recognize their commitment and contribution, MEED Foundation awarded each participating student with an official certificate of participation. This achievement underscores the Foundation’s ongoing mission to empower youth through education, environmental innovation, and strategic partnerships.
