MEED Foundation signs MoU with Sulaymaniyah Municipality

MEED Foundation and Sulaymaniyah Municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on improving municipal data collection and updating existing datasets. The MoU aims to improve and update open-source mapping information especially on platforms such as Google Maps and other similar location-based tools, ensuring the creation of accurate and reliable data for public and municipal use.

The MoU signed by Ms. Layla Omer, General Director of Sulaymaniyah Municipality, and Mr. Amanj S. Yarwaessi, Board Director of MEED Foundation. This partnership indicates a mutual commitment of using innovative thoughts and advanced technology to enhance urban planning and development.

This achievement highlights Sulaymaniyah’s commitment to growth and development, emphasizing creative thinking and the use of modern technology in building a sustainable city in the region.
