The Next Step 2024 Education Fair and Conference was held from
September 22-24, 2024, in Sulaymaniyah, Kurdistan Region of Iraq, was
a transformative event designed to support 12th-grade students and
their families in navigating the transition to higher education. The
event brought together universities, higher education institutions,
companies, and organizations to provide comprehensive information
about academic programs, admissions processes, scholarships, and
career opportunities.
Event Data
MEED Foundation as official Data Partner for the event conducted
several surveys during Next Step 2024. In total 6,717 unique names
registered for the event, of which 4,069 attended during the 3 days
and MEED Foundation conducted surveys with 2,840 participants,
representing 69.8% of people who attended during the three days.
Participants were made up of students, their families and friends,
general visitors and representatives of universities, companies and
other organisations.
